june 2025 books

Flirting Lessons by Jasmine Guillory - she never disappoints, and I really enjoyed this fluffy, fun, fake-dating romance!

Good Dirt by Charmaine Wilkerson - I loved this author's first book and this one was almost as good. A family saga following multiple timelines in the family history, and it was so powerful to read these stories.

Battle of the Bookstores by Ali Brady - even though I basically figured out how it was all going to end, that didn't stop me from loving this enemies-to-lovers romance. (And of course, if you liked "You've Got Mail," it had those vibes...)

The Stolen Queen by Fiona Davis - ooh, intrigue and history and some women finding their voices...what's not to like about this one?

The Three Lives of Cate Kay by Kate Fagan - It took me a little bit to get into this one, but I liked the multiple points of view and I was satisfied with the ending.

The Invisible Library by Genevieve Cogman - I liked this book, but not enough to read any more in the series. It features a secret inter-dimensional library, werewolves, dragons, steampunk, and a lot of other stuff. Maybe a little too much. But I did like it.
