Kosher Cooking Carnival is up here at Ilana-Davita's site.
Haveil Havalim is over by SuperRaizy.
Both are definitely worth a read!
(and I'm hosting HH this week so make sure to submit your posts!)
The. Best. Toy. in. the. World.
Underneath this box are 2 of my children.
While having a large cardboard box in your living room doesn't make for excellent asthetics or even for great pictures (um, how to get a picture of them underneath said box?)...it sure makes for happy kids.
Each time I get ready to recycle the darn thing, I notice how lovingly they've taped it, decorated it, and how much joy it brings them.
Remind me again why we buy toys?
See much more beautiful photography over here.
Happy Monday!

There's just nothing like a good, old-fashioned giant box.
My boys were keen on stickers and markers for their box (and playing barn, etc.) until Brian filled it with cement dust. :)
That is great - such a big one! Boxes are popular around here too (especially if they start out with peanuts inside, guaranteed to make me lose my mind!).
Thanks for linking to my kcc post.
I remember that I used to love cardboard boxes as a kid.
You are not kidding. We once had a large box from a tv for about 3 years in the playroom. I hated throwing that box away.
Oh, how true that is. M isn't quite at the "Oh, a box is so fun!" age, but I know it's coming.
How do I submit something to HH?
I hear you there! What a great shot. Toys-shmoys.
"Underneath this boxare two of my children"- that made me laugh!
I've had a huge box just like that in my living room since Christmas!
My brother and I used to play in boxes when we were little. My mentorship ends May 15 but the class ends May 28, when I graduate. I couldn't think of another word besides administrative.
Why do we buy toys? Honestly? Kitchen stuff, makeup, boxes, moms clothes and shoes...all better toys!

well, we buy toys so that we don't have a giant box in the middle of our living room.....
I think we kept a refrigerator box for over a year once! I would have kept it longer, but my husband made me throw it away....
I admit that it was barely standing anymore...
