Being Eco-Unfriendly - a Rebellion!

7 year old, practically spitting: Mom, I am so mad at you!
(glances around...) I'm so mad at you that I'm going to waste water!

He turns on the bathroom faucet and just lets the water run for a few moments.

Then he shuts it off and walks away.

What does it say when your kid rebels by being eco-unfriendly!?

    How funny! And, how can I teach my kids to turn on the faucet rather than hit? I'd also like to know what you did that made him so mad.

    Either way, what a great story; you can remind him of it for years to come, I'm sure!

    That remind me of what one of my children, unhappy about my pregnancy, said: "If the baby cries when you are in the bathroom, I am not going to pick it up."

    I love that he didn't just leave it running indefinitely, but actually waited and turned it off.

    Watch out, though, he may try to sabotage your bid for that low water washing machine.
