In honor of Tu B'Shevat, we had green pancakes for breakfast. Aren't they pretty cooking?
I made a tree out of them. Yes, that's chocolate syrup. Why not celebrate? (Hey, chocolate comes from trees, technically!)
The funniest part: David refused to even let me do it. I had to dye only the end of the batch and I *had* to eat them myself! They were yummy.

We celebrated Tu'bishevat by planting a small mint shrub in Sammy's shalom Chaverim tot Shabbat class :)

The pancakes are a little strange-looking on their own, but the tree is sure cute!
ReplyDeleteI've been "going green" lately by buying the organic food box through my university. I'd be buying (mostly) organic at the store anyway, but the bulk purchases save on packaging too.

The pancakes rock. And since I have a recipe that I love for chocolate pancakes and a chocolate sauce to go with them, I am the wrong person to criticize your tree trunks!
