praise
glorify
laud
celebrate
those are tough words
in the face of
a global pandemic
how can we find
gratitude
when we are
scared
worried
afraid
alone?
and yet...
the sun rises
and sets
the clouds make
beautiful formations
the lake sends
waves over the shore
we breathe
and then realize
that the
breath
itself
is worthy
of praise.
