Don't you hate it when...

...you start the car to warm it up and then go back into the house to wait.

A few minutes later, you spend

ten minutes

looking
for
your
keys.

Oh no...that's basically equivalent to looking for your glasses while they are on your head!

You sure made me laugh at the memories but....On Sunday DH was warming up the car to take the girls to Sunday School. The windshields were both covered in snow...a bit later,I heard this honking and honking (we lived on a busy cut-through street). I looked outside and to my horror, the emergency brake had slipped (the car was standard shift) and the car was in the middle of BOTH lanes of traffic, with the windshields covered in snow!!!!! DH made a mad dash out to move it but what a funny sight that must have been for the other drivers!

We solved the problem and moved south. No more warming up cars!

I think it is about time that someone diagnose "Rabbi Brain" as an actual phenomenon :) I find myself doing things like that all the time. I wonder if it is because we deal with so many HUGE issues, the little ones don't have any room in our brains. (Plus - you're a mom!! Tons of extra stress there!!!)
